South Korea Posts New Highs In Exports, Trade Surplus Last Year


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) South Korea's export volume and trade surplus reached new highs last year.



The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy announced South Korea's exports amounted to 559-point-seven billion US dollars in 2013, up 2.2% from 201



Imports stood at 515.5 billion dollars, or down 0.8%, resulting in a trade surplus of nearly 44.2 billion dollar



The resulting trade surplus broke the previous record of 555.2 billion in 2011
