Brazilian imports from Arab nations hit $11.4b

(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) Brazil imports from the Arab nations in 2013 over the previous year were recorded at $11.399 billion, and consisted of mineral fuel, fertilizers, plastic, glass and glassware, fish and seafood, and electric machinery; according to the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC).



Arab countries collectively accounted for a 2.72 per cent growth in Brazilian imports in 2013 over the previous year. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was the biggest exporter with $3.194 billion, followed by Algeria at $3.074 billion, Morocco $1.434 billion, Kuwait $1.016 billion, and Iraq $691 million
