A Pakistani man has been charged by the Fujairah Public Prosecution of forging an official document. The Prosecution accused the man of forging a stamp belonging to the UAE Consulate to Pakistan and a UAE postal stamp of Dh50.

The accused has been referred to the court on forgery charges.

As per the details available, in mid January this year, an officer at the UAE Foreign Ministry office in Fujairah discovered that an educational certificate submitted by a 24-year-old Pakistani man, identified as B.H.M., was fake. The accused had submitted the document for attestation.

When the officer verified the stamp on the paper, it was found to be fake. The Ministry’s officer immediately reported the matter to the policemen, who arrested B.H.M.

When questioned, B.H.M. admitted to the crime, saying he had duplicated the UAE Consulate’s stamp in his home country.News@khaleejtimes.com
