Brazil, Cuba sign 3 MOUs


(MENAFN) Brazil and Cuba have inked three memoranda of understanding (MOUs) to increase the investment in Cuba's first special development zone at Mariel port, Xinhua reported



Under the signed MOUs, Brazil will invest in a project to expand and modernize Cuba's airport infrastructure, a joint venture for the manufacture of plastic polygon will be launched and both countries will look into the possibility of a joint cigarette project



The Brazilian Minister of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade said that Cuba is an "excellent partner and a very reliable country in the sphere of business, with a long tradition of respect for international contracts"
