The 5km run event saw some very dramatic Lighting and visuals, with sound and music pumping along the illuminated course for the entire duration of the event. The event which included a 5 km run captured the imagination of many with its spectacular setting. This event was started in the United States in 2012 and has travelled around all the major cities in the US. Giant installations, some of which were designed by Disney technicians, were shipped in and world-class DJs enrolled for the electric event. The event attracted runners and music lovers alike, parents and kids were not left behind as well; the event was an all family affair attracting 7 and 70 year olds alike. Some participants ran the course, some chose to walk as they did some chit chats along the course.
Giant installations dotted throughout the course will include rows of illuminated inflatable arches, glow sticks and pillars, and a section with 300 umbrellas lit up with multi-colored glow sticks. Famous DJs performed along "Electric Avenue", where there were stations serving colored water. It was a truly spectacular feat
