(MENAFN - Arab Times) In his first act after he was appointed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior by the Council of Ministers Lt. General Suleiman Al-Fahd has issued a decision seen by observers as a message to discipline police personnel who do not comply with the force regulations and instructions but to the contrary abuse the prestige of the police force, reports Al-Rai daily. Al-Fahd in his decision said many police personnel are not complying with the police force regulations. He was quoted as saying, it has been observed that some police officials sport long hair and moustache and sport beards without permission from their superiors and also do not pay attention to their appearance. Instructions have been given to senior officials in this regard.
