China salary increase to hit 8.8 percent


(MENAFN) Salary increases in China are expected to reach 8.8 percent this year, slightly up from 8.6 percent in 2013, Xinhua reported



A survey issued by 51job.com, a human resources service provider said that the highest increases occurred in the financial sector, increasing 10.4 percent, followed by the real estate sector with 10.1 percent



Chief consultant at 51job.com said: "The salary increase reflects that the demand for expertise in these industries is great, but suitable and qualified people are in short supply, so the competition in these industries is fierce.
