(MENAFN) South Korea's LG Electronics posted an increase in its operating profit for the fourth quarter of 2013 on the back of brisk sales of smartphones and home appliances, Xinhua reported
The company's operating profit increased 9.3 percent from the third quarter, reaching USD220 million in 2013's final quarter
The world's third largest smartphone maker has reported a revenue increase of 7.4 percent to USD13.8 billion, but said that it suffered a net loss of USD58.6 million in the fourth quarter of last year
