Machinery and equipment show to host over 150 exhibitors

(MENAFN-Arab News) MACHINEX Arabia, Saudi Arabia’s 4th international machinery and equipment exhibition, is set to host over 150 exhibitors from Saudi Arabia and 15 countries during its four-day run, from Feb. 9 to 12 at Jeddah Center for Forums and Events

Two hundred and twenty two industrial projects till now have been allocated on a total area of 3.894.442 square meters, and Jeddah 3rd Industrial City is expected to attract investments of nearly 900 factories worth SR15 billion as its unique location, which is about 30 km south of Jeddah city and 70 km from Makkah city

Investment in the industrial sector has risen exponentially as consumer-driven economic growth surges. Aside from petrochemicals, the strategy aims to stimulate the metallurgical and steel industries, food processing, packaging, automotive assembly, as well production of construction material, electrical and electronic goods, he said.
