Kuwait- Iraqi in drug running


(MENAFN- Arab Times) An Iraqi man has been arrested by Hawalli police officers for possessing and trafficking in narcotics, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. The suspect was apprehended while driving along a street in Hawalli and the police seized cigarettes rolled in hashish, two pieces of hashish, and KD 700 cash from him.



During interrogation, the suspect admitted selling drugs. He was referred to Drug Prosecution. Meanwhile, the Director-General of the General Department for Drugs Control has referred a Kuwaiti man to the Public Prosecution after he was caught in possession of drugs, weapons and ammunition, reports Al-Anba daily.



The daily added, the suspect was picked from his home in Fahd Al-Ahmed. During interrogation the suspect admitted to trafficking in drugs and said he worked for an unidentified inmate of the Central Prison
