Jordan in deal with Russia to develop nuclear plant


(MENAFN) Jordan plans to sign an agreement with the Russian Federal Agency for Atomic Energy (Rosatom) next month to develop its first nuclear plant, according to Arabian Business



Russia will help the kingdom develop its nuclear plant in the initial stages of developing the facility



The project is expected to cost USD10 billion for construction and operation works, and 49 percent of it will be taken by the Russian company
