Oman- Geely launches ‘business to customer'online portal in China

(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Geely had launched its official flagship store on Suning, a large business to customer online shopping portal in China.


As the first automobile store on Suning, it marks Geely's efforts in simultaneous operation on several ebusiness platforms, its further exploration in the new e-business mode for automobiles, and the trend towards a new era of online business. In Oman and the GCC region, this concept is not yet introduced; its roll out will be based on the response it gets globally, which looks favourable. A senior spokesperson of Towell Auto Centre (TAC), the sole distributors of Geely range of vehicles in Oman comments: ''With the online shopping boom, Geely is offering its Emgrand range and other popular models to consumers on Suning and other sites and this has been widely appreciated.


Now customers can pick out their favourite cars, place orders and make payment online. This method is low-cost and highly efficient. The usual complex process of purchasing vehicles has been simplified. With this collaboration, Geely is also providing diverse online purchasing solutions for consumers''.


Before Suning, Geely has launched an ''Online to Offline'' shopping mode on another ecommerce site – Tmall, whereby consumers can view and review cars, identify product details and purchasing procedures through online audio and video and place orders. It has obtained lucrative market returns and gained reliability with its foresight into the car-purchase concept and consumption mode.


The opening of a new flagship store on Suning can be seen as an evidence of former successful experience, and affirmation on Geely's confidence in e-business.
