(MENAFN) The trade surplus in Argentina fell to USD9 billion last year, registering a 27 percent drop from 2012, Xinhua reported
Argentina's National Statistics and Census Institute (INDEC) said that exports expanded by 3 percent to hit USD83 billion, while the country's imports increased 8 percent to USD74 billion
The INDEC stated that the drop in the trade surplus was due to a reduction of USD6.16 billion in revenue in the energy sector
