Snoop Dog sets off Aussie hotel fire alarm
(MENAFN-Arab News) MELBOURNE: Firefighters responding to a smoke alarm going off in a Melbourne hotel were amazed to find a grinning Snoop Dogg in the room, Mirror reported
Members of the Melbourne Fire Brigade (MFB) were called to the rapper’s room, after a smoke detector set off a fire alarm — but the team quickly confirmed it was a false alarm
Snoop delighted the responders by asking them to pose for a photo with him
“It was pretty funny,” senior station officer Trevor Bowen said. “We had a brush with Mr.Snoop himself
“He asked us for a photo because he said he always wanted to be a firefighter.&rdquo
Snoop, who is in Melbourne to perform at the Big Day Out festival under his new guise, Snoop Lion, later posted the pictures on his Instagram account
Bowen said the encounter would “probably be one of the highlights of my 26 years with the MFB.&rdquo
The Brigade declined to comment on what set off the smoke alarm, but said there was no fire in Snoop’s hotel room.
