Philippines imports up 0.5 percent in Nov.


(MENAFN) The import bill in the Philippines in November last year went up by 0.5 percent from the same month the year before it, Xinhua reported



The National Statistics Office (NSO) said that the country's imports hit USD5.23 billion, although the purchase of electronic products fell in the month



The NSO said that purchases of different other commodities including transport equipment, iron and steel, and telecommunication equipment helped push the Philippines' imports
