IRAQI RED CRESCENT: MORE THAN 34,000 FAMILIES DISPLACED FROM ANBAR


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The Iraqi Red Crescent Society announced on Saturday that the number of the displaced families from Anbar province raised to 34,685 thousand families since the beginning of the crisis till now.



Assistant Secretary General of the Iraqi Red Crescent Mohammad Al-khozai told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the displaced families from inside and outside the province of Anbar were distributed in schools and public buildings, and most of the displacement was from the city of Fallujah, where 24,000 families have fle



Al-Anbar provincial Council announced that Fallujah is a distressed area, blaming the Department of Defense responsible for the killing and wounding of hundreds of citizens of the city and the displacement of more than a quarter of a million inhabitant
