Enhance Oman winner of Dar al Atta'a Treasure Hunt


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Repeating last year's performance, Enhance Oman walked away the winner from among 20 corporate houses that participated in the second Dar al Atta'a Treasure Hunt for a charitable cause. Proceeds from Saturday's event will go to a Yiti school.


Muscat Daily was judged the best dressed team, Omantel the most enthusiastic team, and  Omran the fastest one.


Teamwork, speed and enthusiasm counted as the hunt for the treasure based on clues took


The five-member teams from Shangri-La's Barr al Jissah Resort and Spa to places like Muttrah Souq and Wadi Kabir.


The RO1,000 registration fee from each participating team, will be donated to the Saffanah bint Hatim al Taei School in Yiti for its kindergarten section.


May al Bayat, marketing director, Dar al Atta'a said, ''This is the second year that we are organising the Treasure Hunt and are happy with the response from the corporate houses and individuals. Last year, we had 13 teams and this year the number has increased by seven.


''All public schools in the sultanate do not have kindergarten; they start directly from class one. But there is a school in Yiti which has had KG classes, and we plan to support the school.''

Mohana Prabhakar of Team Muscat Daily said, ''This is the second time we have a team participating in the Dar al Atta'a Treasure hunt. We enjoyed it immensely and we are proud to be associated with Dar al Atta'a which is doing so much for the community in Oman.''


Najeeb al Zadjali from Team Standard Chartered said, ''This is the first time I am participating in this event. The idea to support a noble cause is very exciting. At our company, we always give importance to social causes and being part of the event is indeed inspiring.''


He added that such events also build team spirit that goes a long way in professional grow
