China fiscal revenue up 10 percent


(MENAFN) Fiscal revenue in China surged 10.1 percent last year when compared to year before it, hitting USD2.11 trillion, Xinhua reported



However, the country's Ministry of Finance said the growth pace had slowed down from 12.8 percent in 2012 and 24.8 percent in 2011



Tax revenues accounted for USD1.8 billion, going up 9.8 percent year-on-year. Growth, on the other hand, was down 2.3 percentage points from 2012



Revenues from domestic value-added tax increased 9 percent to USD472 billion last year, while from domestic consumption tax increased 4.5 percent to USD135 billion
