(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The Police Command of North Batinah governorate recently celebrated Police Day for its employees.
The ceremony held under the auspices of Col Abdulla bin Saleh al Ghilani, commander of North Batinah Police, began with the reciting of verses from the Q'uran.
A documentary film about efforts and missions of the North Batinah Police in 2013 was also shown.

Course for developing security skills conducted in Dhahirah
Dhahirah police is conducting a course on developing security skills. Twenty-three employees from various directorates, centers and departments of Dhahirah and Buraimi police are attending the week-long course. The course was inaugurated under the auspices of Lt Col Khalaf bin Hilal al Alawi, assistant commander of Dhahirah Police.

Workshop to prevent road accidents to conclude today
A workshop to review the national strategy for preventing traffic accidents will conclude on Thursday at the Traffic Safety Institute. Researchers and experts from more than 15 government bodies are participating in the programme. The workshop began on Sunday.
