(MENAFN) The Cambodian Minister of Commerce said the country expects to achieve its goal of exporting one million tons of milled rice next year, Xinhua reported
The minister said: "The country had exported more than 400,000 tons in 2013 and there is two years more toward the goal, so I do believe that the country can reach this target.
Farmers in the Cambodian society form over 80 percent of the population, producing 9 million tons of paddy rice per year. After taking out local consumption, the country has 3 million tons of milled rice for exports each year
