CANADA TO ALLOCATE USD 40.2 MILLION TO PALESTINE


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Canada has announced it will allocate 40 million Canadian dollars (USD40.2 million) to support economic development in Palestine and private projects in the coming period .



Christian Paradis, Canada's minister for international development and Palestinian Economy Minister Naji Jawad have agreed during a meeting held here Tuesday to develop and strengthen ties of economic and commercial cooperation and raise the volume of trade exchange between the two countries..



They also agreed on the importance of establishing a joint business council to frame the relations of cooperation , contribute effectively to the development of Palestinian exports , the establishment of joint investments and invite Canadian companies to invest in Palestine
