Egypt's tourism revenue falls 41 percent in 2013


(MENAFN) Egypt's tourism revenue saw a huge drop of 41 percent in 2013 at USD5.9 billion compared to 2012, according to Arab News



After a slight improvement in 2012, tourism took another hit in 2013 when hundreds were killed in violence



Tourism Minister Hisham Zaazou said after confirming that Egypt's tourism revenue hit USD5.9 billion in 2013: "The number is correct and for the year 2012 it was USD10 billion.
