(MENAFN Press) Etihad Holidays, a division of Etihad Airways, has launched services in Germany, designed to cater for the growing outbound leisure travel demand to Abu Dhabi and beyond, from one of its key global markets.

Germany is Europe's largest outbound travel market, with approximately 33 million potential passengers, and an extensive range of more than 300 Etihad Holidays packages are now available via the secure and fully dynamic website, www.etihadholidays.de.

The markets available to German travellers include United Arab Emirates, Oman, Seychelles, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia and China, with the options set to expand further in the coming months.

Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways' Chief Commercial Officer, said: "Etihad Holidays has expanded considerably in our home market and regionally, with popular retail centres and preferred distribution partnerships, so it is an ideal moment to take the brand to Germany and give holidaymakers the chance to book and enjoy our extensive range of packages.

"Etihad Airways has a strong customer base in Germany, using our 42 flights per week, soon to be 49, out of Germany, in partnership with our equity partner airberlin. These flights from Munich, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf and Berlin, will boost significantly the new Etihad Holidays Germany operations."

In addition, Etihad Holidays products are available for travellers from Austria with airberlin, operating from Vienna and Salzburg.

Germany is Etihad Holidays' second venture in Europe, after the United Kingdom, reflecting its growing expertise in providing customers with the ideal package of accommodation, excursions, transfers and Etihad Airways flights.
