Singapore's FDI in Vietnam soars 153 percent


(MENAFN) The Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment said that Singapore's foreign direct investment (FDI) in the country logged strong growth last year, Xinhua reported.



The Foreign Investment Agency (FIA) said that Singapore's total investment in Vietnam soared 153 percent, hitting USD4.37 billion



Singapore accounted for 20.2 percent of the total FDI in the country, ranking second among 54 other countries and regions



Around 105 Singaporean projects were licensed in Vietnam last year at a total of USD3 billion, while more capital was added to other 34 projects at USD1.4 billion
