8 Killed, 15 Injured in Pakistan's Blast


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) At least eight security men were killed and 15 injured when a convoy of security force was attacked with a remote control blast in the cantonment area in Pakistan's Bannu district on Sunday morning here, (Geo News) reported.



Sources said that the security forces convoys move up and down Miranshah in North Waziristan from here every Sunday after clamping curfew in the areas and a convoy as usual proceeding to North Waziristan was attacked by a remote control bomb near Aamandi Chowk, Razmak Gate on Bannu-Miranshsh Road, which resulted in the death of eight security men and wounded 1



Security forces have cordoned off the area, while rescue and relief operation continue



The injured are being shifted to the CMH for medical ai



Sources said the death toll might further increase as the blast occurred with a big bang heard far and wide in the tow



A convoy comprise of normally 25/30 vehicles, sources said
