(MENAFN) Agarmarkt Austria Marketing (AMA) said that food exports from the country last year logged an increase of 4.5 percent going up to USD13 billion, Xinhua reported
Germany remained the largest Austrian food export destination, as exports to Germany accounted for nearly a third of the total export.
AMA said that Austria exported 54,932 tons of cheese and 33,985 tons of beef to Germany alone last year.
The increased demand in Italy made it the second largest export market for the year with a value of USD1.76 billion
