Ireland trade surplus shrinks 15 percent


(MENAFN) Official figures show that the trade surplus in Ireland dropped 15 percent in November, 2013 to USD3.4 billion, Xinhua reported



The Central Statistics Office"s figure reveal an increase of USD445 million in exports bringing the total to USD9.5, while imports went up by USD179.6 million to reach USD6.1 billion



Of the total exports in November, exports to the European Union (EU) accounted for USD6 billion, or 57 percent. The top non-EU destination was the USD, accounting for 20 percent, or USD2 billion
