Apple repays USD32.5 m for consumers


(MENAFN) Apple has announced its plan of refunding USD32.5 million to consumers to settle a US Federal Trade Commission complaint, according to Khaleej Times



The company will also change its billing practices to make sure that it has obtained "express, informed consent" from consumers before charging them



FTC Chairwoman Edith Ramirez said: "Consumers should not have to sacrifice basic consumer protections to enjoy the benefits of mobile technology.
