Saudi Gulf Airlines inks USD2b Bombardier deal


(MENAFN) Saudi Gulf Airlines, a new carrier to launch is Saudi Arabia, has inked a USD2 billion deal with Canada's Bombardier to purchase 16 Cseries jets, Arabian Business reported



President of the Abdel Hadi al-Qahtani group said that delivery for the jets is set between the end of 2015 and the start of 2016



A former chief executive of Bahrain's national carrier Gulf Air said: "Saudi Gulf will be launched once we have the technical license from the civil aviation authority.
