Kuwait- Heroin in 'colon'


(MENAFN- Arab Times) An unidentified Egyptian who was caught by the Kuwait International Airport securitymen for attempting to smuggle heroin into the country has been admitted to the Farwaniya Hospital under police guard, reports Al-Rai daily.



A security source said the suspect arrived at the airport, felt tired, briefly lost conscience and fell on the ground and broke his arm. Doctors at the hospital gave him an opening dose and he purged four capsules filled with heroin.



Meanwhile, the Central Prison guards have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti inmate for possessing four sachets of heroin, reports Al-Anba daily.



The heroin was seized from the inmate when he returned to the prison after attending court session at the Palace of Justice
