Saudi opens Vallourec plant in Dammam


(MENAFN) Saudi Governor of the Eastern Province Prince Saud bin Naif has announced the launch of Vallourec plant for manufacturing oil and gas pipes in Dammam, according to Arab News



The opening was under the patronage of the Minister of Commerce and Industry Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, French Ambassador Bertrand Besancenot, and Vallourec CEO Philippe Crouzet



Al-Rabiah said: "We have 647,220 plants and 94 of them are still under construction. The total cost of these plants has reached SR800 billion and Saudization in these plants is 70 percent.
