Ukraine ups grain export forecasts
(MENAFN) The Agriculture Ministry in the Ukraine has decided to increase grain export forecast to 33 million tons during the 2013-2014 marketing year, Xinhua reported
The Agriculture Minister said: "Since the grain harvest in 2013 was over 63 million tons in standard weight, we have raised the bar of export potential.
In 2013, the country has harvested a record breaking 63.4 million tons of grain versus 46.2 million tons in the year before it
Around 23 million tons of crops were exported by the country in the marketing year between July, 1 2012 and June, 30 2013
