Cambodia foreign trade hits USD15.9b in 2013


(MENAFN) The trade volume of Cambodia hit USD15.9 billion in 2013, logging an 18 percent increase from USD13.4 billion recorded the year before it, Xinhua reported



The Commerce Ministry said that the country exported goods worth USD6.9 billion last year, soaring 26 percent from 2012's USD5.5 billion



Exports were mainly dominated by garment with 80 percent of the total, while the remaining products include dry rubber, rice, corn and cassava



The country's import in the year came at USD9 billion, increasing 14 percent from USD7.9 billion in 2012. Imported goods include garment raw materials, petroleum, construction materials, automobiles, food, pharmaceutical products and cosmetics
