S. Korea employment better than expected with 380,000 new jobs


(MENAFN) South Korea's employment rate has beaten expectations in 2013 due to a strong economic recovery brought by the supplementary budget plan, Xinhua reported



The country's Finance Ministry said that around 386,000 jobs were added in South Korea last year, well over forecasts of 320,000 jobs by the government



In 2013, South Korea's economy expanded 2.8 percent. The Bank Korea forecasts economic growth for 2014 and 2015 to be at 3.8 percent and 4 percent respectively
