Germany's economy forecasted to grow 1.7 percent in 2014


(MENAFN) Germany's economy minister said that the country's growth is expected to speed up this year, following small growth in 2013, Xinhua reported



Economists had predicted that Germany's economic expansion will hit 0.5 percent last year and 1.7 percent this year.



In a monthly report, the ministry said that optimistic indicators signal that economic growth would be at a faster pace this year



"External pulses are palpable for Germany again," it said
