(MENAFN Press) Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels (SWBH), the five-star designer collection managed by Al Rayyan Hospitality, is launching its New Year campaign in 2014 to attract families from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to come to Qatar to enjoy a host of activities during the Souq Waqif Spring Festival, which opens at the end of January

The annual festival, sponsored by Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels and organized by Souq Waqif administration and Sawt Al-Rayyan Radio, runs from 24th January to 6th February and is now in its third year. The festival attracts thousands of visitors and offers two weeks of family-friendly fun including parades, shows, plays, music featuring top Arab stars and children's entertainment. This latest initiative follows a year in which the collection received numerous international hospitality awards and which saw the launch of three new Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels: Al Bidda, Al Jomrok and the historic Bismillah Hotel

The 2014 campaign builds on last year's successful promotion, which showcased the exclusive nature of the boutique hotels, each of which combine traditional Qatari hospitality with contemporary styling and world-class facilities and offer an unparalleled experience for visitors in the heart of Doha's renowned and unique Souq Waqif.

The boutique hotel collection has already made a name for itself globally as the only group of its kind in the Gulf region offering luxury retreats, each with their own distinct identity, whilst allowing guests to immerse themselves in and explore Qatar's rich heritage

SWBH's promotional campaign in KSA this year focusses on the importance of the Saudi market, particularly families, who can experience the collection's hospitality, offering the warmth and welcome of ancient Arabic heritage whilst also providing the height of luxury in accommodation, personal services and cuisine

Abo Al Kayali, Group Director of Sales and Marketing at Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels said: "We are glad to be in the Kingdom after a highly successful year which gained us six awards since the launch of our collection “ including the group winning Best Luxury Hotel Brand for the Middle East at the World Luxury Hotel Awards in Thailand, where Arumaila Boutique Hotel and Al Jasra Boutique Hotel and Al Rayyan's Adria Boutique Hotel in London also won accolades. We also won Best Company for Hospitality and Tourism at the Arabian Business Awards in Dubai and Najada Boutique Hotel was awarded the title of Qatar's leading boutique hotel at the World Travel Awards in World Travel Market 2013

"We look forward to welcoming our guests from Saudi Arabia “ and offering them an outstanding, luxury hospitality experience at any of our boutique hotels, each of which is a designer gem and a haven of relaxation and indulgence after a day enjoying the family entertainment on offer throughout the Spring Festival.

In addition to enjoying the fabulous boutique hotels, guests also have the opportunity to dine on one of the collection's three historic wooden Dhow boats “ Lusail 1, 2 and 3. With butler service and gourmet Arabic and international dishes from the on-board chef it is the perfect way to experience Doha's harbour. Trips are tailor-made to a guest's needs “ whether a romantic dinner for two, a family and friends get-together or a corporate sunset cruise. Other services provided by SWBH include the use of a personal shopping attendant, laptop rentals, interactive television and babysitting services

Guests can also enjoy the sports and leisure facilities such as the gym with the latest exercise and weight-lifting equipment, a private, temperature-controlled outdoor swimming pool, an outstanding spa which includes sauna, steam, massage and cosmetic treatment rooms, and a Jacuzzi
