(MENAFNEditorial) DHL, the world's leading logistics service provider, announced today that preparations for the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS), for which it is the Official Logistics Partner for 2014/2016, are well underway ahead of the event taking place between 16-18 January 2014 in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This year's Airshow, is expected to attract around 20,000 trade visitors from 35 countries. As the Official Logistics Partner for the show, DHL has been managing all shipments arriving for the international bi-annual event. The International Specialists also has plans to exhibit a DHL 757 plane during the show and is scheduled for a special air display as well as a fly-by.

DHL's two year sponsorship agreement as the Official Logistics Partner for BIAS 2014/2016 was signed during the Paris Airshow 2013 by Malcolm Macbeth, VP Aviation for DHL International, Bahrain's Minister of Transportation, HE Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, and members of the Supreme Organising Committee of BIAS 2014.
