Iran allocates USD38 m for rural roads renewing


(MENAFN) Iran's government plans to allocate USD38.33 million to revamp rural roads in the budget bill of the following Iranian year, according to Iran Daily



The plan includes asphalting 17,000 kilometers of rural roads, which is expected to cost USD1.66 billion



Deputy roads and urban development minister said: "If the fund is fully allocated, we will be able to asphalt 1 kilometer of road in each village."
