(MENAFN - Arab Times) Upon instructions from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Lieut General Sulaiman Al-Fuhaid, securitymen are said to have arrested 220 people from the Shuwaikh Industrial Area during a surprise inspection campaign, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Most of those arrested are people who had been sentenced in absentia, people wanted by law and scores others residence and labor law violators. All those arrested have been handed over to the concerned authorities.

Meanwhile, the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Interior has said such campaigns will be organized through the country to arrest violators of the law.
