Global auto sales expected to grow 3.4 percent


(MENAFN) IHS research company expects car sales this year to increase by 3.4 percent from 2012, The Peninsula Qatar reported



Global auto manufacturers are optimistic about sales this year regardless of the slowdown in the US, in which sales have gone up 50 percent since the recession, and are nearing pre-recession average



Senior partner at McKinsey?s automotive practice said speaking of the US market: ?You could see some pressure on the quality of profits.



US auto sales are expected to come between 16 million and 16.5 million units, increasing by 5.8 percent



Auto sales in China are expected to expand by 11 percent in 2014, LMC said
