Indonesia halts mineral ore exports


(MENAFN) Indonesia has stopped all its exports of mineral ore last Saturday in order to improve domestic processing, according to Oman Observer



However, this step is expected to threaten the country's nickel and bauxite industries with over USD2 billion in annual shipments



Global nickel industry will be affected by the government's decision over the following five years, beginning from Chinese stainless steel factories that use kitchenware in its products to cars, and buildings set to hurt the most
