Saudi - 14 Sudanese infiltrators rescued at sea

(MENAFN - Arab News) Fourteen Sudanese infiltrators who were attempting to enter into the Kingdom through the Red Sea were rescued by Saudi border guards when their boat capsized

Col. Naji Al-Juhani, a Border Guards spokesman in the Makkah province, said: "Border guard patrol teams spotted a sinking boat at sea north of Ruwais on Friday morning.

Patrol forces were rushed to the spot and all the people on board were rescued by medical and Saudi Red Crescent teams, who came to the scene with a helicopter.

The infiltrators are being detained and questioned by authorities, he said
