Russia Boasts Record Oil Production in 2013
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Russia has increased oil production to a record level in 2013, the highest levels since the 1990s, says a governmental report. According to Energy Minister Alexander Novak, Oil production increased by 1.4 % last year from 2012 levels, reaching a new record of 523.3 million tons (10.51 million barrels per day).
December's monthly production averaged 10.63 million bpd. The figure is higher than the initial forecast of 505-510 million tonnes, he said at a meeting in the Kremlin.
