Saudi imports USD773 m worth wheat in one year


(MENAFN) Wheat imports in Saudi Arabia were estimated at 2.5 million tons in 2013, or USD773 million worth, according to Arab News



The Kingdom is considered as a main importer of wheat from North and South America, European Union states and Australia



Fahad bin Abdulrahman Balghunaim, minister of agriculture and chairman of Grain Silos and Flour Mills Organization (GSFMO), said that The average price per ton upon arriving in Saudi ports stood at USD0Ù«318
