China's CPI boosts by 2.5 percent in one month


(MENAFN) China's consumer price index (CPI) rose by 2.5 percent year-on-year in December 2013, according to Qatar News Agency



The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said that the country's CPI boosted by 2.6 percent in 2013, 3.5 percent lower than the government's expectations



Inflation reached 2.5 percent in December in both cities and rural areas. Food prices increased 4.1 percent in December compared to last year, while non-food products boosted by 1.7 percent
