Unemployment in eurozone hit 12.1 percent in Nov.


(MENAFN) The unemployment rate in the eurozone went up to record highs in November to reach 12.1 percent, but with signs of easing as the debt crisis peaks out, The Peninsula Qatar reported



The unemployment rate in the region was at 12.1 percent in November, unchanged from the month before it, while retail sales increased from a fall of 0.4 percent in October to a jump of 1.4 percent in November



Around 19.24 million people were unemployed in the eurozone in November, increasing by 4,000 from October, but 452,000 more versus the same month in 2012
