Kuwait- Drug sachets found on two Kuwaiti citizens held drunk


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Two Kuwaiti citizens were arrested for consuming alcohol and possessing sachets containing 'Shabu' drug. According to security sources, Hawally securitymen, who were following orders from Hawally Security Director Gholoum Habib to patrol Shar Habeel Street in Hawally area at night, suspected a black vehicle and stopped it for checking.



They checked the Civil IDs of the two occupants to discover they are Kuwaiti citizens. Detecting the smell of alcohol from them, securitymen checked the vehicle and found sachets containing 'Shabu' drug. They were arrested and referred with the drugs to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them. Meanwhile, the same patrol team arrested an unidentified individual wanted by law for a financial fraud case, after they found narcotic pills in his possession.



He was referred to the concerned authorities. In addition, Hawally securitymen arrested two Kuwaiti youths in South Surra for possessing narcotic pills, hashish and a knife. According to security sources, when securitymen received information about a quarrel between two youths at the parking area of a commercial complex in South Surra, they rushed to the location. They checked the Civil IDs of the youths to discover they are Kuwaiti citizens



Sensing their nervousness, securitymen checked them and found narcotic pills, hashish and a knife. They revealed during interrogations that they are friends. They were arrested and referred with the items to the concerned authorities
