(MENAFN) Sukuk issuances last month came at USD14.1 billion, logging a USD6 billion from the month before it, bringing the total issuances for the year to USD120 billion, Saudi Gazette reported
A report by Kuwait Finance House Group said that Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar issued sukuk of USD3.3 billion in December
A grand total of 126 sukuk were issued in December against 53 sukuk in the month before it and 66 in October
From the total, 97 were issued by the corporate sector a total of USD9.3 billion, 22 by sovereigns with a total of USD4. 5 billion and 7 by government related entities at USD237.1 million
