Families enjoying camel and horse rides other activities
(MENAFN Press) APM Terminals, the operators of Khalifa bin Salman Port, recently held its third Annual 'Family Fun Day' for its employees at the Marina Club. More than 350 employees and their families attended the event which was organised by APM Terminals Bahrain and Svitzer, the Marine service provider and sister company of the AP Moller - Maersk Group of Companies in Bahrain



The aim of the 'Family Fun Day' event was to enhance and bolster a closer relationship with employees and their families and reward them for their hard work, commitment and dedication to the growth of the organisation. Every year the 'Family Fun Day' is a fantastic day out that provides employees the opportunity to socialise and enjoy a wide variety of games, tournaments, and win a lot of prizes. This year too, there was entertainment for both the young and the old alike. The day-long event included a bouncy castle, beach football tournament with the winning team walking away with a trophy, popular children's attractions, face painting, henna, camel and horse rides, cart rides, raffle draws with exciting prizes and gifts for all.



Several other initiatives organised by APM Terminals for its employees include regular training programmes on safety, training covering top-of-the-line technology advancements in the maritime industry and the up-skill of the maritime workforce
