Germany's inflation hits 1.4 percent in December


(MENAFN) Germany's annual inflation boosted by 1.4 percent in December 2013 after the country saw an improvement in its economy, according to Qatar News Agency



The federal statistics office reported that the December rate is compared to the registered 1.3 percent in November



Commerzbank economist Johannes Werner said: "The solid economic performance as well as strongly rising wages point to the upward trend of prices slowly continuing in the coming quarters.
